cancelled wihtout prejudice

hi, my fiance has filed for out K1 petiton,which is currently under process and pending with vermont center, my question is:
i had overstayed my tourist visa by 6 months in year 2002 when i had come back to my home country i had gone to the embassy and they had stamped cancelled without prejudice on my visa, now that it has been 6 years passed, how would this affect my k1 visa interview at the embassy, kindly advice

you probably earned yourself a 3 year ban. but since it has been 6 years, that is over.

other than that, there is no reason why this would affect your K1 interview.
