My fiancee lives in Thailand and is planning on coming to the US for a visit. Can we get married while she is here and then apply for an immigrant visa? I've read about getting married abroad and then waiting for her visa, but not if we can be married here. She will return to Thailand of course until her immigrant visa is approved. Thanks.
