To Whom it May Concern:

I have recently become engaged to a French citizen. We are currently living in Japan and would like to return to the US. We are struggling to decide the fastest method to be able to live and work together in the US. Would it be faster to get married in the US or abroad, taking into account work permit processing time? If we are processing an adjustment of status is it possible for him to return to France to work until his work permit is approved?
