Dear Sir or Madam:
I have filed an I-129 F form petitlion for my spouse. Looking at the requirements for her interview at the Turkish Embassy they have listed that she needs to fill up the I-156 and the I-156k forms. However in the latter form asks if she is married and states that if the answer is yes she is not eligible for the k visa.
Please let me know how she should reply to such a question in the I-156k form?
Also for the k4 visa for my son who is going to be 18 by the time his case is processed along my wife, the Embassy has listed that he should have a document to show that he has served in the military in Iran, his home country, or that he should have the paper to show that he is relieved from military duty. Why is that? If the boy is going to the U.S. to become an immigrant and then a citizen, what difference does it make for the American Embassy?
Please let me know if this is a necessary document that he must have for this type of visa, or for the I-130 visa?
Regards
