I have seen the processing times on the usics website for I129-f. But i know those dates are just guides. but the process can be quicker. i filed to replace my green card and they said it can take 6 months and i had it within a month. My application is clean nothing to question. Can anybody tell how long it took them to get an approval, if they filed after fee increased?
Second question, I just want to know if i am right on the processing. From what i know uscis will take about 6 months to approve. Then it goes to nvc and that can take a month. it will then sit about for 2 months there and then sent to consulate. Is this correct?
Third question, i filed my i-130 as a perm resident and then will upgrade my i-130 to have it down as i am a citizen. now i know the 1-129f can't be filed till i become a citzen. will anyone know how far my i130 will go as a perm resident. will it just sit around till a visa becomes available or will they do all the step and then it will sit in nvc till the visa comes up.
Thank you for any info
