AOS interview

hi! does anyone who apply for adjustment of status will have there interview before they approve the application and issue u a greencard? whats the interview all about? are both husband and wife will be interview? what do we need to prepare for the interview?

we (me and my husband) did get an interview for same thing, they saw us togther went over questions about name, address, age, mother name and father name for both of us, where we work, how long we have known each others, and how we met and the officer saw pictures of us before and after the wedding, including our wedding album.......but we were very surprised they did not ask us questions about things we own together, or about daily life, she however looked at our tax filling, w-2, pay stubs showing we have same address....
