I-129F best time to visit fiance

Greetings,

I am trying to figure out when the best time to visit my fiance in the Philippines. I want to go with her during her interview, but I also want to fly back to the states when she gets her visa. Now I read that it may take as many as 10 days to get the visa after the interview. I would only be able to stay in the Philippines about a week - so should I arrive after her interview or at the same time and hope the visa comes within the week? Also any feedback from the Phillipines petitioners out there on there progress would be greatly appreciated..

If I were you, I would go for her interview, and may be visa will be ready by the time you return.

My husband is also from the Philippines. His interview was on a Friday and he got his passport back (with the Visa stamped in it) on Tuesday, I think. So, it is likely she could have it in time... but like the other guy said, you probably should count on that happening. My husband went by himself to the interview, which was not difficult, just be sure you have given all of the correct paperwork.
