I did a I-130 and have my first NOA. Im sure its going to take a long time to find out whats going on with it sence its pending. My wife is colombian and has a conference in miami in april. she is trying to get a business visa to go to the conference with her job. my question is.. Is there anything or anyway she can just stay here? Is there any kind of paperwork i can do to just get her to stay here while the I-130 is pending? If not.. Is there anyway she can just come to kentucky where we will live and stay here for a month? I really want her to stay here, but i dont want to do anything to jeprodize the pending I-130. I received the NOA January 18,2008. Would anybody recommend that i do a I-129f while the I-130 is pending? would it get her over here faster? It is going to be VERY difficult for her to obtain an visitor visa now that her I-130 is pending. So forget about that. She can not "come and stay" with you either even if she did obtain a visitor visa by some chance.
