I did a I-130 and have my first NOA. Im sure its going to take a long time to find out whats going on with it sence its pending. My wife is colombian and has a conference in miami in april. she is trying to get a business visa to go to the conference with her job. my question is.. Is there anything or anyway she can just stay here? Is there any kind of paperwork i can do to just get her to stay here while the I-130 is pending? If not.. Is there anyway she can just come to kentucky where we will live and stay here for a month? I really want her to stay here, but i dont want to do anything to jeprodize the pending I-130. I received the NOA January 18,2008. Would anybody recommend that i do a I-129f while the I-130 is pending? would it get her over here faster? I really appreciate if someone or anybody could help me and answer my question.. Good luck to everybody and godbless you all. Thank you.

It is going to be VERY difficult for her to obtain an visitor visa now that her I-130 is pending. So forget about that. She can not "come and stay" with you either even if she did obtain a visitor visa by some chance.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
