Confused I-130, and I-129f

I have filed the I-130, but isnt the process time for a I-129f shorter???
I was told the 130 would take nearly 2 years to get my wife oversea's to america.. and the 129F.. only half the amount of time.. i was born a american citzen. i was widowed, raising my 8 yr old daughter. went oversea's and married. i need my wife here to bring a wholeness to a broken home.. she, has no children, she and my daughter have bonded.

File your I-130 then when you get the NOA 1 file for the I-129F as a K3 Visa
this shortens waiting time.
