I got over here in May 2005. I immediately married my husband. Together we have a 3 year old son. We never filed the Adjustment of status because my husband tax situation is screwed up (We needed the copies of the W2s to file.) When I got here, I got an SSN and Employers authorization document, but I think this has expired.Can I file the adjustmen now? Would it be easier for me to file it using my son as the sponsor since my husband's tax situation is not sound?

I filed a K1 fiance visa. We got married right after I got here. I filed for a SSN and EAD, but since my husband was worried since he didn't pay his taxes, he nevr filed teh I485. So, now I don't know if it is too late---we are still married and have a child togeterComment
