Easy doing change of status...my lawyer or me?

Can anyone give me advice, should I do the change of status for my fiancee and EAD through my lawyer or is it easy for me to do it? I spoke to my lawyer, said that the interview process can be difficult now and strict filing the forms & documentation which could result in delays and excessive fees if improper. He advise me to have him represent me. But I heard its easy and less costly to file and its not necessary to have a lawyer represent you at the interview. Appreciate anyones input related to this....thank you

She will be doing AOS (adjustment of status) and it is pretty simple. I would only have the lawyer do it, if he will do so pro-bono.

you know lawyers that's how they make out money in other people of course they will say this and that but seriously the nvc will send you a packet and all the instructions were there just follow that and fill up all the papers make sure that everything is done right you have nothing to worry about in the interview they are not that really strict they will just ask you and your spouse about your relationship so be sure you know each other well ask your spouse if he/she remember how you meet,date you get married,what special days you two have and if you sleep together those kind of stuff mostly personal questions.goodluck you can make it!
