Adjusting Status Help

My fiance and I are getting married in June. I entered the States on a K1 visa that was put together using a lawyer. We are looking at doing my adjustment of status ourselves but are worried about making a mistake in the process. Can any one offer advice on what is the best option to take.....ie lawyer or ourselves?

It is pretty simple, just read the instructions and the whole process is quick (4-6 months).

There is plenty of help available here and since you went the "right" way, by getting your spouse a K1 visa, it will be even simpler.

the nvc will send you a document stating all the papers needed for you to fill up and the fees just follow that step by step guide.make a checklist of all the papers,fill it up make sure it's right check again and re-check make sure nothing is left behind then send it back to nvc,wait for the interview sched.
