good day to all! i just need to ask a few questions reagrding our AOS.I was annulled in the Philippines and marry a U.S. citizen do i need the proof of nullity of previous marriage when i apply for AOs?my daughter and i were here for a year now and our visa will expire april 2009 we have'nt adjusted our status due to financial problem will we get deported when visa expires?I also just had a baby and we applied for WIC which is government program will that affect our AOS?we plan to do AOS ourselves instead of hiring expensive lawyers which my husband did when he file I-129 and I-130 but did'nt get exactly the help that we need we feel that they make out money on us and cause us trouble financially now that we are here.The NVC sent them already the document and procedure for AOS and they have'nt mailed that to us it's almost a month now and they do not contact us i feel that we're losing alot of time if the paper goes straight to them first.what should we do? thank you for taking time to read my message.i greatly appreciate the help you can give us.

What kind of visa? the important date is not the visa expiration, but the I-94 expiration, when that is done... you could be deported.

my status

i came here on k-3 visa and my daughter is k-4.i have'nt check my I-94 expiration but thank you for bringing that to my attention.for k-4 applicant of AOS do they need the same papers or just the birth certificate needed?i already have my work authorization and ssn do i have to reapply that when we do the AOS?what are the grounds for being denied of green card?We might be under the poverty limit do we need a co-sponsor?
