hi can someone kindly share any kind of info regarding my situation, our k1 visa application was denied because it had been more then 2 years since me and my fiance (USC) had seen each other in person, even though we had shown them sufficent proof by picutres, phone records, mails etc but i guess they are stirict abt the 2 year rule, anyways we are planning to get marry in july and on return then my wife would file for K3 petition,

1) How would K1 rejection will affect our K3 petiton
2) I had overstayed my tourist visa once by 6 months in year 2000

... yes, they are strict on the 2 year rule. Where did you read otherwise?

1) it won't really affect it a whole lot, but it will be hard to prove the relationship since you will be filing after only being married for a short time. You need evidence of the life together.

2) it won't affect either. if it had been a year, then things would be different.
