Spontaneous Marriage

So, I was reading below, and you cant enter on a temp visa with intent to get married, but if you do marry someone spontaneously then that cant be classed as fraud, so then, if you do marry spontaneously, can you lodge for spouse visa from within the country? Or do you have to leave and apply for visa? AND on that note, they say there can be exceptions when applying for fiance visa on the having been together face to face in the last two years, what sort of exceptions are we looking at there, do they take into consideration the sudden boom in internet relationships and online marraige sites? Can anyone help with these questions?

All of these "what if" questions are to vague... but bottom line is, you can not have the preconceived idea of getting married AND applying for your Green Card when you enter using a non-immigrant visa. Period.

Also, you must have met your fiancee in the prior 2 years to filing for a K1 visa. Period.

There are exceptions to meeting face to face if you have strong religious reasons that you can't for example. Google IMBRA and read up on that. Not meeting in person has a lot of extra proof if you are considered one of the exceptions. Most people meet on the internet these days. You only have to meet once face to face to satisfy the other requirement, but you need to document that meeting with photos, boarding passes, passport stamps, both names on a hotel receipt....things of that nature so there is no doubt that you were in the same place at the same time. If you haven't already met, then keep the documentation in mind, so when you go, you will do things to prove it.
