Wife got pregnant

Hi,


I am an Indian resident and my wife is an US citizen. We got married in india and then she had to return back to US to file i-130. Now she is pregnant and wants to come to india to stay with me during pregnancy and while this k3 visa processing goes on. My questions are :


1. someone told me that once she comes she has to return within 6 months to US, is this true?

2. Can't she stay with me for as much long as she wants?

3. Hasn't she become an indian citizen after marrying me? We have the certificate of marriage from court.

4. our application for i-130 was recieved on june 18.........can you tell me when should i expect to get reciept I-797c.


P.S : I want my wife to be with me in this state, please suggest me should i invite her to stay with me or should she stay back there? coz once she comes she can't return within 6 months coz then she can't fly back because then she will be more than 7 months pregnant. CAN YOU PLEASE SUGGEST ME SOMETHING WHAT SHOULD I DO HERE, I WANT HER TO COME HERE..............THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

1. No. That is true only for greencard holders, not for US citizens.

2. Yes.
If she is of Indian origin, she should apply for PIO or OCI.

She is of US origin............she is an american. Now please answer my question :


1. Would she have to return to US within 6 months after her arrival to india ?

2. Can she stay with me for indefinite period of time, if yes would she have to apply for extension of visa after the expiry of her visa? And if she has to apply for extension of visa can she do it within india or she has to return to US to get extension?
