  • case under review.

Hi, my case( I129f )was returned after the interview from the Dominican Republic to Vermont to be reviewed. according to the embassy, they said i did not bring them enough evidence. my case is being in Vermont now for about 19 months. i sent to Vermont and to the embassy all the evidence that i have. pictures, telephone statements,e-mail print outs, proof of every time i traveled to see my fiance, witnesses statements and much more. but nothing helps this process to move any faster. i am planing to go back and get married. i was told that there are chances to get denied again. i am very confuced now. in the interview, the officer just wanted to deny the visa. they lied and contradicted each other very much. also, they were asking most of the questions about sex and acused me verbaly and in writing that this relationship was a fraud. according to the law in the U S. everyone is inoscent until you can prove he or she is guilty. How can they accuse people of fraud with out an investigation or proof of it?
    please i need help.
what is the best thing that i should do?
what would be the fastest way for me to bring her here?

    more info:
i am 29 years old and she will be 23 soon.
none of us had been married before.
    no kids.
i have never sponsor anybody before to the U S A.
she had never been sponsored to come to U S A.
    i have a very good job. ( 11 years )
I have no records of any violation of any kind.
I met her in 2001, became an U S Citizen in 2005 and sumitted the form in 2005.

why do they do this to the people who want to do the things the right way?

please, your opinion or information will be apreciated.
    thanks.

shouldn't that be the reason why we come to U S. to work hard, get a better life, become U S Citizens and have some benefits and civil rights?
having said that, we now live here, work here, pay taxes here, and vote.
i felt like if all my civil rights were violated, i felt discriminated and very disappointed of this system that they have going on. when they accused me of fraud, i was going crazy. because i don't even have a parking violation ticket in this country. my records are cleaner than anyone's in congress or in the uscis. i don't drink, i don't smoke. i only work hard and go to school. we see everyday in the news congressment doing stupid things. for example. months later after i got denied the visa, many employees got fired from the embassy for corruption. am not surprise if some of that is involve in my case. because what they did to me that day is inhuman and unamerican. that keeps happening not just to the dominicans, but in a lot of countries.
i just hope that some day things get beter.
i have read a lot of complains in this web page of similar cases like mine.
well, the only thing we can do is hope that things get better.

i was interviewed two times by two diferent officers and so was my girlfriend. after being in the embassy for more than 10 hours, they told us all their contradictions and than, they gave me the 221g denial.their questions were based on our sex life, some other tipical questions too , but mostly about sex. my girlfriend is a shy person and she was turning red when they kept going on. also, one of them after he accused us of fraud, he asked me this: "what do you want me to do for you?" in spanish, when someone ask you that,it means this: " give me some money and i give you the visa" they are very famous doing that. that's how many people come here. even with **** documents. since i was a little kid i 've been hearing that. there are a lot of things going on in there but if we say it we might get in trouble and nothing happens to them. they are well protected. the economy here in us is not that good now and by doing that they renerate a lot of money too. sometimes those things are extrategies and we think that they are just being mean. hahaha.

thank you for chating and for your info. thanks!!!

In the US, your word against an official's word means nothing, unless the official inadvertantly admits to something in writing (such as in petition revocation memo and/ or on OF-194 - as in my case) or you can produce an audio and/or video recording to back up your claims. So, taking a tiny digital audio recorder (tape-less) on a keychain or watch to visa interviews is not a bad idea, as anything larger or obvious would get withheld at security screening.
