Hello Everyone,
1. What’s procedure after I-129F, petition for spouse approved?
2. What documents required.
3. Do I need I-134 or I-864 form for affidavit of support?
4. What other forms do I need to fill, e.g., DS-156, DS-230

Hi Brown

The petition will be sent to the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC will assign a case number to it and send it to the US embassy at the country where your marriage took place. The embassy will then send your spouse a packet showing all the required documents and forms to be completed.

The documents from my wife where:
1) Copy of her passport
2) Receipt of payment for non-immigrant visa.
3) Police certificates from all countries where she lived in for more than 6 months after the age of 16.
4) DS-156 (2 copies), DS-157, DS-230.
5) Marriage certificate
6) Birth certificate
7) Medical examination
8) Affidavit of support (I-134 as an option).
The affidavit of support may be waived by the consular. However, you should have it at the time of the interview.
