  • Need some help on k1 visa matter

I encountered my fiance in a dating website.I was so overjoyed to get reply and eagerness to get in touch and know each other. Since this time we have chatted so often very day on Yahoo Messenger. On January 20, 2007.my fiance was here with me in Morocco for two wonderful weeks .
We were applying for a k-1 visa. I had 2 interviews in U.S Embassy in Casablanca, Morocco. The first was on July 25th, 2007after my interview I received a white paper marked section 221g, which stated a requirement of an additional administrative processing. The second one was on August 6th, 2007, at this interview; the consular officer stated that the case would be sent back to Washington for further processing. On August 27, 2007, my case was returned to the Department of Homeland Security’s Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for further review of the relationship. Due to the personal nature of information, the file was sent via a registered diplomatic pouch . On October 23, 2007, a USCIS office received my case from the state Department with a request to review it.
so from this time we dont hear anything about our case even if my fiance call california immigration service center , but with the always answer still in review . i do inform we have a lawyer. i do inform that we contact Senator and congressmen too , but they give us the same answer still in review.
so what we must do next ? we make an other case ? we change lawyer ? please any suggestion will be appreciated. thanks in advance .

Read the first post on my "Visa Denial" thread on this page.

A lot of people don't understand how lawyers can help you. Look around your courthouse and you'll see many law practices. They know the local judges and/ or prosecutors (if it's a criminal case) and get things done. If your interview with the CIS doesn't go well, an immigration attorney can help, because s/he will know officials at your local CIS office. But when it comes to consulates, how can an attorney within the US help you? Conoffs are known to receive kick backs from travel agencies and lawyers in their surroundings, but without a reliable referral, you may be risking your money there.

No special occassion, but with this song from the great nation of Spain, I hope all lovers and families unite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=El6HQ6h9b3M
