My fiance's I-129F was approved by CSC on 6/5/08 as was noted on the Notice I received. My question is how long does it typically take for the petition to reach the NVC? Its been almost six weeks now and NVC says they still have not received it. How long should I wait until I start to worry? Is there anything I can do to trace it?

How long should it take for approved I-129f to reach NVC?
It should be on the notice that they have ____ amount of days to do this and to do that. I am not sure about the time frame but it seems that they always give themselves 60 days to respond. Perhaps you can call customer service and see what the normal processing time would be for this part. Good luck. -

DOS can tell you if it went through NVC and may even be at Embassy. That's if somehow it didn't get recorded at NVC.

Give them your USCIS number to look you up. If they have record, ask what your new case number is.Comment
