Just sent out my I-129f for my fiance in England. We have loads of information included... One thing I am not running into... Last trip to the UK, I got pregnant ( not on purpose ) is this going to hurt his chances or increase them, of getting into the US?

Also, How long after I send the Petition off will he get his interview in the UK? He and I arent exactly rich and weve been scraping all our pennies together to get this done... its a mess... thanks for any info!

Ours took about 6 month from I-129F application Submission to USINS Laguna Niguel CA to Interview at Embassy of the United States London. I think that is about the average. As far as the pregnancy I don’t think it is a factor.

This may be good for you, because if he has to file a I-601 and you may have to include a HSL (hardship letter). YOU will have to prove that you will not be able to raise the child alone. But remember, this is not enough. You will need plenty of evidence to show that you cannot live in the UK.

We filed I-129F at Vermont. Just received the Visa in hand in 4 month, 2 wks, 5 days from London. The pregnancy will have no effect on how long the process takes as far as I am aware. You will have to show that you can support him so look up the I-134 or get a co-sponsor lined up if you don't make enough money.
