I am new hear in this site..i just wanna ask you something related about my K1 visa..My fiancee mailed already the 129f 2nd week of july,i was just wondering how long it takes before he can received the petition receipt from USCIS,please help me...thank you

This can depend on which service center it got sent to. I sent my I-129F at the end of the month(July) to California Service Center, look @ my sig @ bottom for my timeline.

If he also sent in a personal check to pay for the petition, and if his bank puts it online for him to view when it's cashed, he can look on the back of the check and get the case #, then set up an account with USCIS to track the progress until it gets sent to NVC.

07/31/08 - Check cashed with WAC YYYY XX stamped on back
08/03/08 - Per USCIS, I-129F updated
08/05/08 - NOA#1 Hard copy recieved
