2nd K1 Visa???

Hello,

My fiance is from the Phillipines. A few years ago, she filed for a K1 Visa with another man. After coming here however, she changed her mind about the marriage and broke it off. Can I file a 2nd fiance Visa for her, or will there be problems because of the initial one she filed 2 years back?

You can file for her... but she will have a harder time at the K1 interview (and even the AOS interview).

Is it possible, though, or is it just a lost cause at this point? I'm trying to assess the difficulty. If she shows that her intentions are genuine at the interview, and she explains why the first visa never worked out, will they grant it to her? Or is there a good probability that they'll make up their minds and deny approval before the interview even begins?

VOs make up their minds up to 75% before the interview starts... however she does not need to volunteer information... she needs to wait for the questions to be asked.

I would focus on proving your relationship right now, than showing the previous K1 was a mistake and why it did not work.
