i ave a question and please answer me truthfully,

i have a boyfriend from philadelphia and we were planning to get married using the fiance visa. But when i checked the internet about details on it, it says we need to be in a 2 years relationship before we apply. Now we are in a 8 moths relationship.. So what will i do now??

you misread the information. You need to have seen each other and in person in the past two years.

That's right but if he's been here in the Philippines to visit you at least 2 or 3 times then you guys should be alright.Just make sure you have all the evidence of your true relationship,photos,etc...........Goodluck

I HAVE A QUESTION SIR WHEN THEY SAY YOU HAVE TO SEEN EACH OTHER IN PERSON.FOR EX.OURS WE KNOW EACH OTHER APRIL 27 2006 THEN WE HAVE A RELATIONSHIP LAST JULY 2007.THEN LAST JUNE 2, 2008 HE VISIT OUR COUNTRY.IS IT COUNTED 2 YEARS ALREADY?SO WE CAN FILE A FIANCEE VISA .THANK U

As long as you have met face to face, in person sometime between Sept 10, 2006 and Sept 10, 2008 (today) you can file. Marilu, you have met in person this year, so it's okay to file. There is no length of relationship requirement as long as you can convince them it is a real relationship.

If you haven't been face to face since 2005, three years ago, then you would have to have another meeting before you could file. Do you understand now?
