  • visa k1 went wrong!

I got visa k1 and k2 for my son last month, but recently I found out that my fiance cheated on me and was not just one night stand. tears and crying wont help...
I still intend to go to US because I have friends there and I want to start a new life, my ex-fiance told me also he will help me start a new life there maybe because he is feeling guilty for messing up my entire life...I sold my apartment , bought my tickets already...
I want to know if someone can tell me if I can marry someone else when I get there or if there are ways to stay there, because one of my friends(american citizen) has feelings for me and he said he wants to marry me unconditionate as soon as I get to US.
Thanks a lot to all of you!!!

Your plan will not work. Look at the visa requirements. You must marry the person who you intended to marry when you filed for the visa.

Do not enter the US with the intent to commit fraud. It is guaranteed that you will regret it later!

The only way he can help you start a new life is marry you. Otherwise you get 90 days legally in the US. Perhaps your other American friend could consult a good immigration attorney and see what your best options are now. If you married in good faith, with intentions to stay married and your US spouse is found to be a cheater or abuser, then there are some other options for you to adjust status alone. Talk to an attorney to find out what can be done.

She is getting herself into a whole lot of trouble. Entering with a K1/K2 visa with no intention to marrying the original sponsor will land her in the "Fraud" schemes.

She can not adjust her status through marriage except to that sponsor. Period.

Have you other friend file for a K1/K2 visa, it is the only way possible at this point.
