  • help please

I have been here for 6 yrs now. I am a canadian citizen, been married to my us husband for almost 3. We applied for immigration status for myself, and after 2 yrs of dealing with uscis, I have been denied. We also have a 4 yr old daughter, this whole situation is devasting to our family and friends. I applied for an appeal, and that was denied. My work permit expires soon, and we have no idea what to do? Will they come and remove me, will they pull my SS #? I tried to get a drivers license but they will not issue me one because my permit is expiring soon. Please someone help!!

What did you apply? why was it denied? you need to provide more information... the story of your immigration.

You can save sometime and find you a lawyer, because whatever happened you are not solving by yourself.

Then you need to go back and speak with your lawyer... who apparently is not helping you too well, since you are stuck in this messy situation... but without more specific information, it is almost impossible to give you some advice.

          Re: Help

alright where do I start, I was origanlly denied because 13 1/2 yrs ago when I was 21, I got into a lil trouble with the law in Ontario, Canada. (it was something really stupid) I was given a condital discharge from the canadain courts at sentencing. I was denied because they say I was found guilty of a moral interpid crime, (something like that) filed a I601 to show extreme hardship on my husband and daughter, and they say I did not show or prove this will cause my husband or daughter extreme hardship. My lawyer says it was a long shot, and if I appeal this decision I will most likely be denied again. She also says that after 15 yrs of the crime I will automatically be given a pardon, is that true? We are thinking of appealing again, but on what grounds? Was thinking of taking my daughter to see a doctor, and receive a letter from them, stating it will cause emotionllay distress on her if I left. I have been her primary care giver, for my husband work alot of hours. The worst part about this whole situation, is if I lied about my criminal charges, and said I had none. They would never have found out because of the conditional discharge. my family and I are being punished because I told the truth.
