Hey guys, have been on Immihelp for quite sometime but registered today.
My fiancee in US is filing for K1 petition and i have a question
My name is Ravindran Arumugam but my passport says Ravindran Arumugham, if you notice it has a additional letter "h". (my last name can be spelt either way)
When i sent my G325A form to my fiance i filled in the name as on passport but now i realized that all my other documents have my name as Ravindran Arumugham, will this be a issue because it is rarely noticable...
Also my passport has my old address in it (also has a 10 year B1/B2 stamp on it), is it really necessary for me to get a change of address on my passport, because here in Bangalore, India we are issued a complete new passport for either a name change or address change (one of the reasons i did not bother to change my name or address because it takes over a month for me to get a new passport)
I am also getting my birth certificate translated to english, incidently it does not have my name on it (in India we dont name babies at birth and its done like 3-6 months later), so how can i get my name included in the translated birth certificate or do i need a seperate affidavit for that. What is the procedure.
Can you guys please help me out on this.
