To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to inquire about a Tourist (Travel) Visa. I have met a lady living in the Philippines who is an RN (Registered Nurse). She meets all the prerequisites for a travel visa. We want to get married. However, I am unable to travel to the Philippines, at this time, due to my schedule. It will be, at least, a year before I can travel there.
Is your agency set up for visa support assistance (e.g., K-1 Fiancé Visa or Travel Visa)? If so, how soon could she get a visa? There have been reports of the US Embassy in the Philippines denying visas to citizens of the Philippines who meet all the prerequisites for Travel Visas. We have heard there is the prerequisite that we meet, in person, having spent time together before being eligible for a “Fiancé Visa.” The purpose of her visa would be so that we could meet the requirement. She would be returning to the Philippines, as she does have “strong ties” (e.g., home, job, etc) there.
Thanks.
