  • Very dissapointed, and lots of questions

I reveiced the foms our lawyer filled out for us, and there were so many stupid, useless mistakes! Now I have to fill everything out myself so that we don't send something incorrect, and I'm not sure how to do it, and since I obviously can't trust what the lawyer says, I need some help from here.

    1. My residency and work history for the past 5 years doesn't fit in the spaces provided on the G325A. How can I include it??

    2. My husband whom I am filing for had a SS# many years ago when he went to school in the US. Is that still valid? Should I include it on the forms??

    3. Is it neccesary to include the statement about how you met, etc. if you're filing for the K3 and not the K1?? I suppose it couldnt hurt to include it.

    4. Do I put anything on the G325A where it says "file number" I suppose not.

I am so confused, and so dissapointed because it's obvious the lawyer had his assistant do all of this, and she obviously didn't read any of the information I sent her. Stupid mistakes like wrong names!

    Help please!

    1. Did the form not say to include a separate sheet if needed?
    2. SSN is always valid once issued and does not expire.
    3. Not sure
    4. Blank

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

      3. File number is Alien # and you should write on your G325A form.
      4. You must include affidavit.
If you are US citizen, you can file I-129F (for K-3 visa) only after if you have Notice of Action for I-130.
So please read the instructions for form I-130. It states “Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship……and so on”.
