Submission of your divorce decree.
Plain and simple you only need to submit the top page that shows your name and your ex's name the dates that divorce took place the, city, county, state so forth it should also have the state seal or court house seal somewhere in front as all of the divorce decrees are some what similar.
This would also apply with submision of 1090's or 1099's for the affidavit of support when submitting tax statements for previous 3 years. just the top pages at most top and second page not the whole 9yards dont forget to include W-2's if possible always paper clip items together that are dated for the same time frame no staples please.

You should submit the complete divorce decree or final judgment. You need not submit the entire court file, only the final judgment which should consist of 4 or 5 pages. It would be better if you submit a certified copy, because if the CIS asks for it later, it will only delay petition approval by another month or so.Last edited by Amir; 12-01-2008, 10:47 PM.
