Affadavit of Support

I was reading here on someone's case that the embassy denied them due to the Affadavit of support was not met.

My question is: If you have gone through NVC and met the requirements of Affadavit of Support, how can the Embassy deny you on those basis.

I am supporting my husband on AOS with the help of a friend as my sponsor. I met the income requirements for this year but last year i did not. And also my sponsor qualifies for this year but was not a lil short on last year's end.

NVC said that we met the requirements, now i am thinking once it is reviewed by the embassy in greece they may say we don't qualify. Can anyone advise me?

Affadavit of Supprt

Thank you Amir,

He is not in the United States yet, he lives in Greece, and we have already submitted our papers to NVC along with payment, when I spoke with NVC they said that all the Affadavit of Support was correct as far as submitting the paper work. I do have a joint sponsor, because NVC said that i qualify for this year but to be certain i should get a joint sponsor since i did not qualify for last year.

But what you are saying is NVC just collect the information and the consulate makes the final decision?
