I am a canadian and will be marrying a us citizen...My questions are these: If i was to go to the us via land, i don't get my passport stamped can we get married in the us and just file the paperwork or we are thinking of getting married outside the us can i go back to the us with him and file the paperwork? Looking for the best way to do this....don't want to have to wait in canada while the paperwork is being processed. What is the best reason to tell the customs at the boarder why i'm going into the states? Any help would be appreciated. Also i have a 6 year old daughter that will be coming with me, and she is not his, however he will be adopting her after we are married
