need advise on advanced parole

Hi everyone,

I sent in my fiance visa application at the vermont center in dec 2008. My fiance is in France and we are planning to have a formal wedding this september 2009. We hope to be done with the process before June 2009.

Does anyone know if the advanced parole to be authorized travelling can be accelerated? As he plans to go right back to France after we officially get married in the US

Very hard to predict a timeline with that much accuracy. If you get the visa in time for your formal wedding. Then you must marry and get your official marriage certificate, then file for AOS before you can ask for Advance Parole. It's to allow you to leave and return while awaiting a decision on your Adjustment of Status, and that's why I think you would have to have a case on file first. So you would have to be super organized to have all your AOS packet ready to send just after the wedding. AP can be accelerated if you pay the $300ish fee and have an emergency reason, which wouldn't be that hard to make up. Or you can file it free with the AOS. We got ours 59 days after filing with the AOS.

The whole immigration timeline is too uncertain to know if it will work out like you want.
