Cdn waiting for "Packet 3"

My American fiancee and I have had our petition approved are awaiting the package from the consulate in Montreal. What timeframe should I expect to receive it based your own experience(s)? Also, following the return of the documents, how long does it usually take to receive an interview date?

As far as I know the Packets are coming in about a month-ish or less as long as you don't get stuck at NVC and then people are waiting about 3-4 months from the time they send back the Packet 3. Montreal looks to be a bit slow. Right now people are getting approved faster from some of the service centers than they are getting interviews from the consulate. Good news is that once you get your Packet you can get all your info though, police checks and the medical are both good for 12 months in most places in Canada, so you can just check everything off and send the checklist right back to them.
