Should I amend?

I just turn in the application. However, I think i made the mistake by saying my fiancee is not currently in the USA. He is but he will leave soon. I figure when they receive the application, he will be out of the country so i just figure he is really not here in the USA when they actually see the form. But then again, i think i should have said he was here. should i amend and how?
