Yes, you can BUT the immigration officer needs to believe you are just a tourist and will go home when you say. Take proof with you that shows you have ties in your home country and need to return home. You may not be questioned at all, but if you are these are some proofs of ties to home:
Return ticket
Letter from employer saying when you are expected back at work.
Copy of a lease showing you have an obligation to pay rent
Student id/enrollement proof showing you are in school and will return to finish.
Copy of bank accounts still open in your country.
Copy of your appointment letter showing you have a visa interview to attend
They can always deny entry if they suspect you won't return home.
