If it is a K1 visa, they will check on background etc if it is needed and then call for a visa.

Your case is still pending administrative processing. Consulate can not issue the visa prior to completing this processing. Consulate can not waive this processing for any applicant. This is not a matter of missing documents.Your case requires additional administrative processing
It also means that they are checking or waiting for clearance. This process could easily take couple of weeks.
There's nothing that you can do anymore but to wait.Comment
