  • My Fiancee got her Visa approved today

    Hi All
We sent our application on August 26, 08 and got approved in Dec 27 or 28, 08. Since then she got the package(DS-156, etc...) by email and did her medical visit. Well in a nutshell today she went to the embassy with our son and she was approved, but they told her our 9months old need to a DS-2029-Report of Birth Abroad and they will issue an american passport for him? Did anybody has a similar case doing K1 and i129f?
    We are happyyyy!!!!!!
I hope the same to everybody waiting their case approved.

    Congratulations.
A child of a US citizen gets an American passport and doesn't have to have a visa, green card, or naturalization. Sometimes they can require a DNA test to prove paternity, but maybe yours will go easier and you can just sign an affidavit or something.

I just have a question? Are you from the Philippines? We sent our application on Sept 08 and got approved. I already received the letter from the US embassy in Manila telling me that I can now call them for an interview appointment. Can I call them right away or do I still need to wait for the next letter for the Packet(checklist)? How long do I wait?

        Thanks

just a query regarding a child. my fiancee in the US have filed a fiance visa last february this year, we have a 3yr old daughter staying with her in the states but she didn't submitted the birth certificate when she filed the I-129F, you think we should have included it in the documents filed with the I-129F? or should it be necessary to submit it in the next step? many thanks in advance.

          gratz babdak2003!!!

hi bro, im from the philippines. as far as i know, you should call the embassy asap and make sure you have all the documents needed so there'll be no other delays on the process, i think first thing they will ask you to do is the medical exam. ofcourse you should have your passport already and a copy of the documents listed in the notice. goodluck...my case by the way is still waiting...
