hi all,
i am new to this forum. i need help with the k1 visa application. i am planning to sponsor my fiancee to come to the us using the k1 visa. however, she has a pending visa application to work here in the US as a nurse(filed april 2008). recently she was got a letter from uscis informing her that her status has been approved and her case was already sent to the national visa center - awaiting a visa number for her. as we all know, there is retrogression right now and they are not issuing any visas to foreign workers.
i am about to submit the forms and evidences that we have to uscis. but before doing so, i want to ask anybody who has an idea about this.
has anyone been in this situation? if so, do you have to inform the uscis that she has a pending petition and now you are sponsoring her for a k1 visa?
please help.. your replies will be grately appreciated.
