VSC processing times

Hi,
does anyone know how long the VSC takes to issue a receipt letter with the tracking number for the case? thanks!

It took my fiancee and I a month.

Takes only few days normally. If you can view the cashed chk see on the back side there you will see a case number. That is the same number you will have on your receipt number. Hope tht helps!

Hi i did not get mine after a month i called and they told me they sent it .But i did not recieve it so i called again and was told to get a copy of the check i used to pay the fee and my receipt number will be at the back i did and i got my number.I called uscis once more to ask for a receipt again and the guy was very helpfull told me they don't issue duplicate receipt but he will send me one.. he did i got my approval letter now my case is at nvc waithing on a interview.
