I have a question about Legal Marriage

THank you for reading my post...
I am all ready 18 , and a citizen of USA, I've been dating a guy for two years and four months now and want to marry him. We finished high school together, and he is from mexico. He came to USA when he was two years old, and He is along with his parents is illegal, so if I marry him, does he need to go back home to get documents? or can he stay here?
What papers do I need to fill out for him to become legal?

he can not get legal status if he entered illegally. he needs to go back to mexico before 180 days have passed since his 18th birthday.
