Marriage ceremony. Please help!

I'm a US citizen and my fiancée just came to US 3 weeks ago and due to financial difficulty, can I skip the marriage ceremony and apply for the marriage certificate and then go with the I-130 and I-485 or I must have the marriage ceremony with the marriage certificate to complete the process and avoid any problem later on.

I am sure they can understand not everyone have money to do wedding in these time.

You & your fiancee and go to city hall apply for marriage license. after that go to any justice of peace or civil court judge to get married. get the marriage certificate and apply for the AOS. you guys can have a cermony later on. Good luck

You have 90 days (3 months) to get married. It doesnt matter if you have a big church wedding or going down to the court house and get married as long as its legal and you have your marriage license.
