Nicohle, i read your response and the instructions which were very clear. However, the instructions for questions17 and 18 on the uscis sote states just write N/A for both. The instructions on this site states write n/a but put not a blodd relative, we are married and so on. Please help me because this is very confusing. This is the only thing I need to do before I send my papers off. Please respond as soon as possible,

All I can tell you is what I put on #17---
X in the box NO
and in the blank below- Not a blood relative
We were approved for I-129F, K1 visa, AOS, EAD, and Advance Parole with no delays or requests for more evidence any step of the way. So I guess what we put was okay with USCIS and DOS.
I think N/A is fine instead of "not a blood relative". It's not applicable because you answered the first part as NO, meaning not a blood relative, so there's really nothing else to tell them after you've said no. I don't think it will matter on this question either way.
The important thing to do is not leave anything blank. So sometimes N/A is an appropriate answer and sometimes NONE is appropriate.
Examples: Name your children---I would say NONE if you didn't have any rather than N/A. That clearly tells them that you have none.
While you're checking things over, please check part C, question 2. A whole lot of people think that entire section is about the military. They read the first question and just skip on. Put "not in the military in question 1. Then be sure and answer question 2 (hopefully with NO). There are so many delays where people leave that one blank without ever reading it and are ask to submit it over again.
Good luck.
