We have our interview set for September 10
I think she could have gotten an earlier date but I was flying in on the 9th for a visit, so she wanted us to go together even though I would have to wait outside.
We decided to have an engagement party and now I am flying my family and a friend along. I wonder how many fiancees bring a bunch of future in-laws to the VISA interview haha. I plan to stay another week, so we can fly home together
EDIT: She tried to schedule the medical examination but the clinic does not schedule that far in advance. Hopefully because they are not very busy.My Fiancee arrived here on a K-1 VISA.

the embassy received the electronic files.. they are just waiting for the physical files... grrrr.. hehehe.. but, everything is ready... we're just patiently waiting for the documents to get there.Comment

Hi Woodger, Nicainix, and others. Sorry for not visiting and updating, but good news. I received a letter from the embassy stating that my fiancee can go to the medical exam and the interview. We have an open date interview though. Which means that we can go any weekday between 8-10 am. The embassy letter is dated Aug 12, 2009. I received it on the 17th. SOOOOO HAPPY!

RFE Received and Sent: 7/31/2009
USCIS Resumed Processing: 8/5/2009
NOA2 Approved: 8/12/2009
NOA2 Received in Mail: 8/17/2009
NVC Received Packet: 8/17/2009
NVC Mailed Packet to Manila US Embassy: 8/19/2009
NVC notice w/case number: 8/20/2009
Packet Received in Manila US Embassy: 8/26/2009
My Fiance's Medical Examination date: 9/3/2009
My Fiance's Interview Date: 9/15/2009
If everything goes well... ( already bought his ticket... )
Btw, We were able to choose what date to go for the interview and his medical exam is walk-in basis first come first serve. We didn't have to wait for him to receive the notice because the call center operator said that it's just a notice via mail that they received the packet and he is eligible to set an appointment for interview and that packet 4 is printed online.. He just needed to show the confirmation email stating the interview date that he printed out for his medical exam instead of the notice.

Hey there people !
Well.... we got our Approval !
My fiance received the NOA2 dated 25th August
Strange really, because the UCSIS website had recorded a 'touch' but still said case pending, but we got the NOA2 approval Hard copy
took them less than 3 months to aprrove
Mailed: 29/5
NOA1: 1/6
NOA2: 25/08
Now the fun starts for me lol.... all this paperwork to get through lol...
