Hello, I have the following problem : :confused does anybody know if the petitioner is on probation can it influence the case process or become a reason for failure at all? if he's filing for CR1? I am wondering if uscis' background check on him will affect my application.

All I know is that they do run criminal background checks, but I'm not sure to what extent they make for a failure of the application, which is why they ask for court records etc, I would presume that this means there is a low level tolerance to previous convictions... but I'm assuming and I don't know for sure.
