Here's a strange one. Not even my immigration lawyer understands it...
My fiancee recently had her P4 interview in Guangzhou, China. At the interview she was told her visa was approved and she would be receiving it in the mail in a few days.
Instead of receiving the visa she received a yellow paper requesting education and work history information. The paper clearly indicates it's for work visas. No mention of fiance visas.
Has anyone heard of this happening before? Any advice?
Thanks.
