Need help with I-485

Hello, I am the US citizen living in Alabama. And my husband is comming from Australia. He is currantly residing in australia. His visa expires in Oct. We wanted to know if it is possible for him to come here for the finger printing and for the i-485 send off all the paperwork that goes along with this process. and return to work in his country to work until we have a actual interview. We need his income that he makes there in order to pay for all the fee. I can handle the rent, utilities and basic living needs... but not the immigration fees on top. we have been married 4yr come january. the first time we went through process they said the lawyer missed sending the w-2... which he did have... that is why this time we filed the visa that allowed him to travel...

And if he can not leave to go back to work... want is the average wait time from file to interview....


Please!! please!!! help!!! it is 3 months to the end of his visa.
