The person co-sponsoring my husband does not reside with me in the same house, would that affect the whole process?
I would like to know which of the forms does the co-sponsor needs to fill I-864, I-864EZ, I-864W or I-864A ? I need assistance.. plssss

    Hi there,

The co-sponsor simply has to be a resident currently within the united states, they don't have to even reside in the same state, no worries there.

The form the co-sponsor needs to fill in is the I-134 affidavit of support form, and needs to provide any supporting documentation required, such as proof of employment, tax documents etc.

    I myself am being co-sponsored

But some one also told me the co-sponsor needs to fill the I-864A?

Is this a marriage I-485 case? If so you need to file the following:

          (1) I-864 for your self (even if you don't qualify for the income)
          (1) I-864 co-sponsor
          (1) I-864A co-sponsor's spouse (if any)

so you will need (2) I-864, and (1) I-864A if the co-sponsor has a spouse.

For a K-Visa with a cosponsor you will need to fill out the I-864 and have your co-sponsor fill out I-864A. Both of these go to your fiancee and s/he presents them at the interview.

There is no space on the I-134 for a co-sponsor.

Some embassies prefer/require the I-864. My fiancees embassy says that the I-134 is not sufficient and to use the I-864.

My Fiancee arrived here on a K-1 VISA.
            Conditional GreenCard has been received.
