hi to everyone, my k1 visa was finally approved by the uscis, noticed received via email, waiting for the mailed notice for now for further instructions. more power to immihelp...i'll keep you updated on my process. by the way, my petition was sent to uscis last feb 28, received NOA1 march 3 and finally approved july 29, 2009.

hello again to everyone...finally i have an interview appointment on sept. 15, 2009. i'll be going for a medical next week...wish me good luck folks!
i haven't received my notice from the US embassy here in my place but i called them and asked for it, instead, they gave me email notice which i will show it for my medical and interview...as long as my case is eligible then they said its fine not to wait for the notice and have my appointments...
time line:
sent petition: feb. 28, 2009
received NOA1: march 3, 2009
approved: july 29, 2009
received NOA2: aug 3, 2009
received NOA3: aug 10, 2009
called embassy (manila) aug 18, 2009 and they scheduled me for interview on sept 15, 2009. i can have earlier interview date if i want but i need time to prepare for more dcs in the interview. -

by the way, how did you schedule for your interview appointment? can you choose any date you like? coz you said you can schedule earlier but you still need to prepare your documents.. so when could've been the earliest possible date for your interview then?...
my fiance has all the documents ready... we are just waiting for the embassy to received the physical file.. NVC sent our case via snail mail and electronic today... so i will call in 1-2 weeks again to see if they received it so i can tell my fiance to schedule his appointments... haysss... i'm really hoping he gets here before his birthday on november 12!Comment

They wanted more evidence though : ( so now its taking longer... We should have been approved by now. So badly want my honey home 4 his birthday at the end of september!Comment

I've seen many people here say that it only took a week after......it's been 10 days now.......and still nothing.......I know they have enough evidence now!!! Wish I knew what was taking so long......I just want my Love home!!!!Comment

I sent the request for evidence.........
on August 3rd, and they received it on August 11th......still just says "evidence received, and case has resumed" that's it.........Comment

mine was august 5 then august 12 was the approval...
remember they have within 60 days to send you a notice...Comment

Just don't understand....
How everyone here received their approval in a week ..... It's been almost 2 weeks.... What things did you send? I'm wondering if I sent too much or not enough now . It's so depressing that our futue is in the governments hands. I'm missing my love sooooooo much...I'll die if I have to wait 60 more days for just the approval part!Comment

i guess it depends on who ever processes your files... we don't really know how they do it..
but, when i sent in my RFEs.. i organized it and stapled it.. with the blue paper on top... then i made a letter of intent to marry but just hand written... which was next to it.. then next was my passport copy and stamps on it with a note saying when i left my fiance's country and went back so they know how long we've been apart.. the rest i organized according to dates.. from the oldest to most recent.. i made notes on the pictures... and airplane tickets... bus tickets..
me and my fiance have been together for 4 years, so i sent them pictures from before.. and explained that we've been apart for almost 2 yrs.. so they would understand that i don't have more pictures to show them on dates we were apart till june 2009 when i went back to the country...
the passport stamps proved it... so it made it easier for them i guess...
i guess that's how i thought they'd be convinced that we really are together..
