I also private messaged you too........

My Honey is in France too. He was just here for 89 awesome days! We gathered as much information for the interview! Phone bills from both lines showing tonsssssss of calls were made to one another....highlighted. Copies of our ******** messages........myspace pages, and comments to one another, gmail printscreens, he has tons of cards and letters that I've mailed to him in France. The Affidavid of support letter from my bank, 3 years of W2 forms from me, (taxes), pictures organinzed 100 of them to be exact with where and when the pic was taken........passport copies with immigration stamps from when he was here and when I was there. Ticket copies from the train to go to his hometown, and ticket copies to the Rugby game.....there is the other form my lawyer gave us that has the scanner image on it.......he has that......my original birth certificate, the original approval from USCIS, trying to think of what else.......there must be 10 pounds of stuff! I think he will just need the exam and the police report now........for the interview....can't imagine anything else. IS it true that they only interview you for like 5 minutes. I find that hard to believe with all the info that they need!

      Time line
      May 14th, 2009-sent i-129f
      August 20th, 2009-Approval of petition
August 28th, 2009-received notification from NVC stating our papers had been sent Paris and that my fiance will receive documents that he needs to present at time of interview.
September 18th, 2009-called NVC because my fiance has still not received the packet that he's supposed to get.
I know every case is a little different but I'd love to know details about the rest of the process in Paris for example what you need so I can start working on the paperwork now. Anyone's fiance from France and had/or is having a similar experience let me know.

      Questions:
He has not received his documents or paperwork should he call the Embassy in Paris and schedule interview or to ask when they are sending the paperwork??
How long about does it take from this point because we made a tentative date for December 19th, 2009 to get married it's our goal is this possible?
What kind of documents do you need to present when you go for your medical examinations/interview, what can I start working on now? How do I know if I need the affidavit of support form I-134?
What kind of questions do they ask you at the interview?
What should I avoid or look out for?
I love him so much, please help me know what I can do to help get him here as fast as possible, I know everyone else is praying for the same.

--Luvlysingr awaiting her fiance whom she loves immensely!

No idea, I'm worried about the affidavit of support because I only have 2 part time jobs and I don't make a lot but it will be enough for us to survive until he is able to work. Do you think that will be a problem...ugh...I can't wait until the paperwork is over
PS. do they need all originals?

wow...that's really a lot of evidence u got. bring them all, better to have more than less...yes it's true that the consul will only talk to you around 5mins...in my case, i have a pre-interview with a filipina where she just get my original birth certificate, the affidavit of support, w2 of my fiancee and only checked one photo and did not even took it. i brought with me one photo album with around 40pcs of photos in it with labels, lots of phone bills, and many more evidence but they didn't asked for it...take note, give or show them only what they ask for, no more no less...even in their questions, be straight forward. be cool and confident, if your relationship is genuine then you'll surely pass it...

you can have a co-sponsor where in your relative will file the affidavit of support for your fiance...i think others do that.

hello everyone. i just wanna update my status, i'm finally here in new york with my family, i arrived oct 2, 2009 at JFK airport...it was a smooth long trip. costums at JFK are not so strict and even at the immigration gate...now we are preparing for our wedding and hopefully i can change my status very soon and be able to find a job.

to all those waiting for their cases, be patient and pray hard...good luck to all

Once the K-1 VISA arrived to my Fiancee's house we ordered airline tickets and a few days later boarded the airplane.

We used a one way ticket.

The airline checked the VISA when we checked in at the airport and at our layover in france we were asked if my fiancee had a green card or a VISA, so that they could give her the proper immigration form.
My Fiancee arrived here on a K-1 VISA.
                      Conditional GreenCard has been received.

                        congrats

I called delta and was told we could not purchase a one way ticket and would get denied was reaching the POE. said we have to get a round trip ticket even after i expalined he would be here for longer than three months. so we are sort of confused about what to do.

thanks. its ok to book a one way ticket since your husband is using K3 visa, it depends on your POE, mine is JFK and luckily the costums and immigration wasnt that strict that they didn't even checked my bags. good luck.
